As you may know, Mark Stinson and I recently wrapped up our special series, A World of Creativity.
We were fortunate to have an absolutely stellar line-up of creatives, entrepreneurs, and business innovators join us to talk about the creative process, how they work, and where their best inspiration comes from.
I learned so much from this series.
In this video I share my 5 biggest take-away’s with you so you can put the experience of these creatives to work in your business and realize more success.
5 Ways To Be More Creative:
- Pressure – Putting yourself under deadlines and tension is important to the creative process, and in fact will help you come up with ideas.
- Empathy – Knowing your client/customer can help you create better solutions to the problems they face.
- Problem – A better understanding the problem you’re trying to solve will help you create better solutions.
- Practice – Creativity is a muscle. The more you use your creative muscle and practice the process, the better you become.
- Diversity – Everything counts. All of your diverse experiences will help you come up with more creative solutions to the problems you’re facing in your business and your life.
The general, underlying theme in these interviews was one of optimism and a knowing that there is a creative solution to any business problem we’re facing if we simply apply ourselves and stick with it long enough to arrive at a creative solution.
Thanks for watching!
All the best,
Mark
