Let’s talk about your spiritual altar.

Specifically, how you can enhance it so it can be more beneficial and inspiring to you and ultimately help you do the work you came here to do in a better way.

Putting a little time and effort into improving your spiritual altar will pay off in your day to day experience in a big way.

Here are 7 things you can put on your spiritual altar to enhance it.

  1. Gods and Gurus – Include things like statues, pictures of yogis, saints, sages, rishis, monks, llamas, and other men and women who have dedicated their lives to developing their own spirituality and their connection to the Divine.
  2. Objects – Include things like crystals, gems, rocks, wood, beads, and mementos, that have significance and meaning for you.
  3. Images – Include images of nature, and spiritual or holy places, that inspire you.
  4. Incense and Candles – Burning incense or candles is a great way to begin and end your practice at your spiritual altar.
  5. Quotes and Phrases – Write down or print off some of your favorite uplifting and encouraging quotes, sayings, and messages that inspire you be your best, most authentic self.
  6. Animals – Figures, drawings, or pictures of animals that have qualities you want to develop within yourself.
  7. You – Include something on your altar that reminds you of your own divinity. It can be a word, a phrase, a picture, or something else that helps you connect with your higher, all knowing self.
