What’s the hardest thing in the world to do?
Keep an open mind, of course.
And since this is so important, it’s the topic of this week’s episode.
Why is this so important?
Because, what we think is the cause of what we do, and what we do is the cause of the results we have in every area of our lives.
Adopting better ways of thinking causes us to act more effectively, and ultimately realize better results.
And better results is what we all want, don’t we?
Show Notes
- The hardest thing in the world is to remain open to everything and attached to nothing.
- Remaining open to new ideas is the key to enhancing the human experience.
- In my humble opinion, the worst way to go through life is with a closed mind.
- Always be seeking new ways of thinking.
- The mind wants to attach (and never let go) to ideas. This is conditioned thinking and it is detrimental to personal growth and expansion.
- “Change is the only constant.” ~ Heroditus
How to remain open:
The best way to remain open is to simply realize that change is the only constant in the Universe.
And, as human beings, we are always in a state of perpetual awakening to better ways of being and doing.
New inventions and innovations are always on the horizon.
However, we we will only discover them if we keep an open mind.
The thinking that got you to your current situation won’t necessarily get you to your new destination.
To grow and become more effective you’ll have to adopt new ways of thinking and doing on an on-going basis.
If not, you’ll find yourself living out the movie Groundhog Day everyday for the rest of your life.
And nobody wants that.
One Sentence Summary:
To do the most difficult thing in the world (remain open) simply realize that the human experience is always unfolding for the greater good.
